This is my go to recipe for cold weather.
The flavor of the rub is about the best I’ve come across. I actually use it on pork chops and roast beef (slow cooker). Even burgers!

I use your site for any recipe I can think of.

We made this for our Valentine’s Day dinner. First try skillet dinner and it was fabulous! Followed recipe exactly. We had T bone steaks, thinner than a New York Strip, and appreciated the tip to take it out of the oven (check temp of meat) sooner. Love all your excellent help cooking Rachel! Thank you!

Thank you Rachel for the great recipes with clear cut instructions and tips, the videos are definitely an added bonus. Looking forward to trying this steak / asparagus recipe. Need to invest in a cast iron skillet first though.

Wow, wow, wow! Absolutely delicious. I told my husband it was like he had taken me out to dinner at a 5-star restaurant. He bought two New York steaks 2 inches thick (prime) and they cost a pretty penny. May I please mention that next time we make this I will make a Bearnaise sauce for the steak as well as add rings of onion sauteed with the mushrooms and asparagus?
